A senior associate working at Infosys in Bengaluru has been arrested for secretly recording a video of a woman employee inside the office toilet.

The accused, Nagesh Swapnil Mali, was caught red-handed on Monday by the woman. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the woman noticed something suspicious in the toilet cubicle next to her. She quickly realised that Nagesh was filming her.

The woman raised an alarm, and other employees rushed to the spot and caught Nagesh. His mobile phone was found to contain the video footage, which was later deleted by human resources personnel in the woman’s presence.

Police said this may not be the only time he has done such a thing. They are now investigating whether more women were secretly recorded by him. His mobile phone has been sent to a forensic lab to recover the deleted videos and check for any past offences.

In a similar incident in Ayodhya in April, a 25-year-old man named Saurabh Tiwari, working at a guest house near the Ram Temple, was arrested for filming a woman while she was bathing. Police later found several videos of other women guests on his phone as well.

Investigations in both cases are ongoing.
