A local resident from Muridke, a town in Pakistan, shared what he saw during India’s precision strikes on terror camps. According to him, the attack began late at night when drones appeared in the sky.

“It was around 12:45 in the night. We were asleep... one drone came first, followed by three other drones, and they attacked... everything is destroyed,” he told Reuters.

The Indian Armed Forces carried out coordinated air strikes as part of Operation Sindoor, hitting nine targets across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The mission was a direct response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 civilians, including a Navy officer and a Nepali national, lost their lives.

A loud explosion reportedly shook several areas as Indian aircraft launched the operation at 1:44 AM, catching many off guard in their sleep. The strikes lasted for 25 minutes, taking place under the cover of darkness.

According to top sources cited by India Today, more than 80 terrorists linked to banned groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and Hizbul Mujahideen were killed during the operation.

Out of the nine targets hit, four were located inside Pakistan, and five were located in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)

The strikes were carried out using a mix of air, naval, and ground-based forces, with high-precision weapons like HAMMER bombs, SCALP missiles, and loitering drones.
