Two men, dressed as food delivery agents, robbed a jewellery shop in Ghaziabad on Thursday afternoon. The incident took place at Mansi Jewellers around 3:30 PM and was captured on CCTV cameras installed inside the store. In the footage, the two accused are seen wearing delivery uniforms from Blinkit and Swiggy, along with helmets to conceal their identities. As they entered the store, they pushed aside an employee and went straight to the display counters. Within minutes, they began grabbing ornaments and placing them into their delivery bags.

At one point, one of the robbers threw a chair across the counter to reach more items. The staff member present during the incident was seen standing aside as the robbers swept the store. They reportedly remained inside the shop for five to six minutes before fleeing on a two-wheeler.
The shop owner said he was in the washroom at the time of the incident. “The caretaker shouted ‘chor chor’ (thief, thief), and I rushed to the shop. By the time I got there, they had taken everything. I immediately informed the police. They arrived within 15 to 20 minutes and began their investigation,” he said.
According to initial estimates, the robbers took away nearly 20 kilograms of silver and around 125 grams of gold. Police have registered a case and are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to trace the movement of the accused. Authorities are also trying to determine whether the delivery uniforms were genuine or stolen. Several teams have been deployed to investigate the case and identify the suspects. The use of delivery disguises in crimes like this has raised concerns over verification and security protocols.
