An Indian man shared on Reddit that he needs a second job even though he earns ₹82,000 a month. This started a discussion about how much money is needed to live comfortably in a small town. Many people also gave him advice on how to find another job.

"I need a second job urgently!!!" the Reddit user wrote. He said he works from 9 AM to 6 PM and earns ₹82,000 per month. However, his salary is not enough to support his family because he has a big home loan to repay. He asked for ideas on how to earn extra money.

He shared that he is good at public speaking, customer service, and designing with Canva and PowerPoint. He is looking for a job that can help him earn an extra ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month. While answering questions from other Reddit users, he mentioned that he pays ₹36,000 every month for his ₹46 lakh home loan. He also said that he lives in a small town with very few job opportunities and cannot move to another city because of his family.

In a similar row of events, one techie recently shared a bizarre act of ghosting an employer. Sharing his experience on Reddit, he wrote, "Today, I ghosted a company before an interview. I've done 7-8 interviews and currently have one job offer." He explained that despite clearing interviews, companies would suddenly stop responding, even after salary discussions.

"Many HRs told me I passed the interview and then disappeared. Only one HR informed me they no longer had openings, while others simply ignored me," he added. Frustrated, he tried contacting HR multiple times and even sent "polite emails" to check his application status.

But the bizarre part? He decided to turn the tables. When another company invited him for an interview, he asked if they could meet his salary expectations. "I didn't want to ghost them, but the HR insisted I go through the interview process first. I decided not to go through the same cycle again and ghosted them instead," he wrote.
