The results of the Delhi Assembly elections have given a major advantage to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in a tough political battle. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has been dealing with several criminal cases, faced some big losses. One of the biggest surprises was Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal losing to BJP’s Parvesh Verma. Another major defeat came in Jangpura, where AAP leader Manish Sisodia lost his seat.

Most exit polls had predicted a BJP victory, and the results seem to be proving them right. If BJPforms the government, it will return to power in Delhi after 28 years. The Congress party, on the other hand, has failed to make any major gains and continues to struggle as it did in the last two elections. Meanwhile, if AAP somehow manages to stay in power, it will create history by winning for the fourth time in a row, breaking the Congress' record of 15 years.

In Rajouri Garden, BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa won with 64,132 votes, defeating AAP’s Dhanwati Chandela. The voter turnout in the February 5 elections was 60.54%.

Arvind Kejriwal lost his New Delhi seat after holding it since 2013. His party, AAP, is facing a major defeat, with BJP leading in most seats. Manish Sisodia also lost in Jangpura. This loss is seen as a big setback for AAP, especially since Kejriwal and Sisodia face corruption charges. However, AAP leader Atishi won her seat against BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri.
