Indian police have arrested at least eight people from three different states for spying for Pakistan. These arrests come after increased security checks following the Pahalgam terror attack. The accused were caught in Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. Four were arrested in Haryana, three in Punjab, and one in Uttar Pradesh.

After arresting a travel vlogger suspected of spying, the Hisar police warned that young social media influencers are being targeted by enemy countries. Hisar SP Shashank Kumar Sawan told reporters, “For easy money, such influencers go on the wrong path.” The police are now more alert to stop such activities.
