A couple in Bengaluru was fined by the Traffic Police after they were caught on camera engaging in ‘indecent behaviour’ through the sunroof of a moving car. The incident took place on Trinity Road on Tuesday, May 27, while the couple was returning home after dinner in Koramangala. Videos recorded by other drivers quickly went viral on social media. One account, ‘Karnataka Portfolio,’ shared the clip and tagged the police, calling the act dangerous and irresponsible. The video showed the couple leaning out of the car's sunroof while it was still moving, raising serious concerns about road safety and traffic law violations.

After a video of a couple behaving inappropriately through a moving car’s sunroof went viral, Bengaluru Police traced the vehicle owner using the car’s registration number and issued a fine of ₹1,500. This included ₹1,000 for dangerous driving and ₹500 for other traffic violations.

Police stressed that such acts not only put the individuals at risk but also endanger others on the road.
This incident comes weeks after another viral video on April 12, 2025, showed a young couple involved in intimate behaviour on the Madavara metro station platform. That video, also posted by the 'Karnataka Portfolio' handle, sparked public outrage and raised concerns about appropriate public behaviour.
