Famous rapper Eminem has filed a big lawsuit against Meta, the company that owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. He says Meta used his music without asking or paying him. Eminem wants over $109 million (about Rs 900 crore) in money for this.

Eminem’s company says Meta used 243 of his songs without permission. They say Meta lets people use his songs in videos and other posts without getting the right licenses or giving him credit. Eminem wants $150,000 for each song because this has caused him to lose money and made his music less valuable. This lawsuit is part of a bigger problem about how social media sites use music.

Eminem is going through legal problems but is also very happy because he recently became a grandfather. His daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, 29, and her husband, Evan McClintock, welcomed their first baby, a boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14.Hailie shared a sweet photo on Instagram of the baby wearing a blue hoodie, lying next to a sign with his full name and birthday. The middle name “Marshall” is a special tribute to Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

Back in October 2024, Eminem gave fans a glimpse into this new chapter of his life with his music video Temporary, which included touching clips of Hailie growing up. The video ends with an emotional moment where she tells her father about her pregnancy - a moment that now feels even more special with the baby’s birth.
