In Faridabad’s Sector 58 area, two men have been arrested for allegedly killing their friend by injuring his private parts with a high-pressure water pipe, police said on Monday.

The victim has been identified as Manoj Chauhan, a resident of Sanjay Colony. According to the police, four of his friends – Atinder, Kartik, Sandeep, and Rahul – all aged below 30 years, are accused of carrying out the assault while Manoj was bathing at a farmhouse.

Police said that the group inserted a water pipe into Manoj's private parts and turned on high-pressure water, which caused serious internal injuries. Manoj was taken to a hospital but later died during treatment.

An FIR has been registered under relevant sections of criminal homicide of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Sector 58 police station. The case was filed based on a complaint by the victim’s brother, Anand Chauhan.

As per Anand’s complaint, the four friends took Manoj to a farmhouse on the morning of May 17. Around 9 am, they brought him back home in a critical condition, saying that his health had suddenly worsened.

Anand also said that before dying during treatment, Manoj told him about the assault.

Police said that two of the accused – Sandeep and Rahul, alias Kabutar, both residents of Sanjay Colony – have been arrested. They are now trying to catch the other two, Atinder and Kartik, who are on the run.

A senior police officer said during questioning, the arrested accused revealed that they had attended a wedding function with Manoj on the night of May 16. The next morning, they went to a farmhouse near a dumping yard to freshen up. There, Sandeep held Manoj while Rahul inserted the pipe connected to a submersible pump.

Police said raids are ongoing to arrest the remaining two accused.
