Errol Musk, father of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, is visiting India for five days starting June 1. He will return to South Africa on June 6. During his stay, he will support the Haryana-based company Servotech by giving advice on solar energy and electric vehicle (EV) chargers. The goal is to help build partnerships focused on clean energy. Errol Musk is part of the advisory board of Servotech Renewable Power System Limited, an Indian company that makes EV charging solutions. As part of his visit, he will tour the company’s factories and take part in meetings with government officials and investors.

Managing Director Raman Bhatia said, “We welcome Errol Musk to the Servotech Renewable family. His global experience, deep insights, and passion for innovation will help us move faster toward building a greener and smarter future for India and the world.” Errol Musk is expected to meet government officials, business leaders, investors, and senior officers from various ministries at a company event today. According to PTI, his visit includes several events to support India’s goal of becoming a global leader in green technology and EV charger exports. He will also tour Servotech’s solar and EV charger factory in Safiabad, Haryana, where state ministers and senior officials will be present.

On June 5, World Environment Day, Servotech will organise a tree plantation drive during Errol Musk’s visit to promote sustainability and a greener environment. The company said Errol Musk, known for his work in infrastructure, technology, and sustainable development, will also provide strategic advice to Servotech's leadership team.

Elon Musk and Errol Musk’s relationship

Elon Musk and his father, Errol Musk, have a strained relationship. In a podcast earlier this year, Errol criticised Elon for saying he was not a good father. Elon had said Errol depended too much on nannies and didn’t spend enough time with his children. While Elon has spoken about a difficult childhood without much luxury, Errol disagreed and claimed Elon had a comfortable life, even going to school in a Rolls-Royce.
