In Bengaluru a small office argument turned violent and left many shocked. What began as a minor disagreement over switching off lights ended in a brutal murder. A 41-year-old manager, Bheemesh Babu from Chitradurga, was beaten to death by his colleague inside their office in the early hours of Saturday.

The incident took place around 1:30 am at a rented office of Data Digital Bank, located in the Govindarajanagar area. The company reportedly deals with storing and managing movie shooting videos. According to the police, Bheemesh Babu had a problem with bright lights and would often ask his coworkers to switch them off when they were not needed.

On the night of the incident, he once again told his colleague, Somala Vamshi (24), a technical executive from Vijayawada, to turn off the lights. What started as a simple disagreement soon became a heated argument. In a moment of anger, Vamshi allegedly threw chilli powder at Babu and then attacked him with a dumbbell.

Police said Vamshi repeatedly hit Babu on the head, face, and chest, causing severe injuries. Babu collapsed on the spot, bleeding heavily. Other employees were called for help, and an ambulance was soon arranged, but doctors declared Babu dead at the scene.

Realizing what he had done, Vamshi panicked and decided to surrender. He went straight to the Govindarajanagar police station and confessed to the crime. The police have registered a case of murder and taken him into custody for questioning.

DCP (West) Girish S confirmed the details of the case, saying that a small dispute over keeping the office lights on led to the killing. He also mentioned that the police are investigating the case further to understand if there were any previous arguments or tensions between the two men.

The incident has shocked local residents and coworkers, who said Babu was a polite and responsible manager. The tragic death over such a small issue highlights how uncontrolled anger can lead to devastating consequences.
