Elon Musk once again sparked a major controversy by suggesting that President Donald Trump should be impeached. He also claimed that Trump’s name is in the secret Jeffrey Epstein files, and that’s why those files haven’t been made public.
Musk posted this on X (formerly Twitter) after Trump criticized him during a press briefing. Musk added that the truth will come out later. He posted, “Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. This came after rising tensions between the two, especially over Trump’s new law that Musk says will harm electric car companies like Tesla.
Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.

Have a nice day, DJT!
Musk, feeling unappreciated, reminded everyone he helped Trump win the election. After Trump said he was “disappointed” in him, Musk hit back on social media, criticizing the law, blaming Trump for Tesla’s falling stock, and finally dropping the shocking Epstein claim.
What are Epstein's files?
Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender and disgraced financier, died in custody in 2019, but the scandal surrounding him continues to stir global controversy. His so-called “Epstein files”, a term referring to a collection of evidence including contact lists, flight logs, call records, and court documents that have linked several powerful individuals to his network. While some of these documents have been made public, many remain sealed, fueling conspiracy theories. Some believe the FBI is hiding these files to protect high-profile names, though simply being mentioned in them doesn’t prove guilt.
Elon Musk reignited this firestorm by claiming that former President Donald Trump is named in the sealed Epstein documents. Although Musk’s claims remain unverified, they have renewed public pressure to fully release the Epstein files. Since returning to the White House, the Trump administration has released some documents and promised to share more, but questions remain about what is still being hidden and why.
