China is speeding up the delivery of its new J-35A stealth fighter jets to Pakistan.This is seen as a reward for Pakistan after the recent conflict with India. Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif is currently in China. Sources say Pakistan may get the first 30 jets by August 2025.

Intelligence reports say some Pakistan Air Force pilots have already gone to China’s Air Force headquarters in Beijing for training on how to fly and operate the J-35A jets. Along with the fighter jet deal, China has decided to invest $25 billion in Pakistan’s civil and military infrastructure. Pakistani officials have promised China full security support and easier access to operate Gwadar Port.
