A woman’s attempt to capture a moment on a moving train almost ended in a serious accident, and her video has gone viral on social media.
The video shows the woman hanging outside the door of a speeding train, reportedly in Sri Lanka. Suddenly, the door closed on her, and she was knocked off the train. Luckily, the train was slowing down, and she landed on the tracks without getting hurt.
The video was shared on Instagram by Munevver Isk Nizam. In the clip, she can be seen holding onto the doorframe while recording herself. The video has been viewed over 104 million times, leaving many people shocked by how close she came to danger.
In the caption, Nizam called the moment a “full comedy”. She said, “I had leaned out, posed, and even started singing during the ‘famous’ Sri Lankan train journey. The door closed on me at that moment. I was shocked. Although the train was about to stop, there was no problem.” She also explained that the crowd’s reaction heard in the video was real and not edited.
Even though she turned off comments on her original post, the video spread on other platforms. Many people criticised her for taking such a big risk just for views. Some called her actions “reckless” and said it was a “disaster waiting to happen”. Others questioned why influencers put safety second to getting perfect shots.
Though Nizam was lucky this time, the incident is a strong warning about the dangers of risky social media stunts, especially around moving trains.
