A Blinkit delivery agent was caught on CCTV urinating inside a lift of a residential building in Virar, Maharashtra. The video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking outrage among people.

The delivery man was wearing Blinkit's uniform. In the CCTV video, he can be seen entering the lift, standing in a corner, and urinating without realising that he was being recorded. After seeing the footage, the residents of the apartment complex were shocked and upset.

They later confronted the man and questioned his behaviour. Another video shows the residents talking to him. The agent says, “Why are you beating me?” One of the residents replies, “What were you doing inside the lift? We will file a police complaint against you.”

Reports say the delivery agent was beaten by some residents. He was then taken to the Bolingaj Police Station, where a formal complaint was lodged against him. So far, Blinkit has not shared any official statement on the issue.

This is not the first time a Blinkit delivery agent has been involved in controversy. Earlier this month, a customer from Delhi said a delivery agent misused his phone number and called him repeatedly using bad language.
