Former cricketer and Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir received a death threat via email from a group calling itself 'ISIS Kashmir.' This happened soon after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 tourists lost their lives.

According to a report by India Today, Gambhir got a message in an email that read just three words: “I kill you.” The threat was taken seriously, and he immediately filed a police complaint.

News agency ANI reported that Gambhir received not one, but two threatening emails on April 22—one in the afternoon and another later in the evening. Both had the same scary message written as "IKillU."

On Wednesday, Gautam Gambhir went to the Delhi Police and officially asked for help. His team filed a First Information Report (FIR) to make sure proper action is taken and that his family is kept safe.

Before he got the threat, Gambhir had spoken out on social media about the deadly Pahalgam attack. He posted a strong message on X (formerly Twitter), saying:

“Praying for the families of the deceased. Those responsible for this will pay. India will strike.”

This terror attack has been called one of the worst since the 2019 Pulwama incident.
