Haryana election results:

In the recent Haryana assembly elections, the BJP won by securing 48 seats, while the Congress obtained 37 seats. This came as a shock for everyone, as the result was the opposite of what the exit polls had predicted. After the results, the senior INC members met with officials of the Election Commission of India (ECI). According to the reports, they reported complaints from 20 out of the 90 constituencies in the state to the ECI, and were assured that their concerns would be addressed.

The party said the Election Commission received written complaints from seven constituencies while the other remaining complaints  will be submitted in the next two days. Earlier, the party also said it will not accept the totally unexpected election results.

The Election Commission said, such unusual statements which are never heard in the history of the country go beyond legitimate free speech and represent an undemocratic rejection of the people's will.
