Starbucks is making changes to its menu starting next week on March 4. Some less popular drinks will be removed, including several Frappuccino blended drinks, the Royal English Breakfast Latte, and the White Hot Chocolate.
Starbucks said these drinks aren’t ordered much and are harder to make or are similar to other drinks on the menu. With this change, they want to focus on a smaller, simpler menu.
"We’re making the menu simpler to focus on fewer, popular drinks that are made well," Starbucks said. They believe this will reduce wait times, allow for new ideas, and improve the quality and consistency of drinks.
Starbucks said it will continue removing drinksand food from its menu over the next few months. By the end of 2025, the menu in the United States will be 30% smaller. However, Starbucks is also adding new items, like bringing back Lavender drinks and adding a new Iced Cherry Chai and Jalapeño Chicken Pocket to the spring menu.
Drinks that are no longer on the menu
According to a list shared by Starbucks with the news agency Associated Press (AP), the drinks that will leave the menu on March 4 include: the Iced Matcha Lemonade, Espresso Frappuccino, Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino, Java Chip Frappuccino, White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino, Chai Crème Frappuccino, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino, Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino, White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino, White Hot Chocolate, Royal English Breakfast Latte, and the Honey Almond Milk Flat White.
