video has gone viral showing angry SpiceJet passengers forcing an airline staff member to eat biryani, which they said was bad and not fit to eat. The incident happened during a long flight delay at Pune airport about two weeks ago.

In the video, the passengers are seen shouting at the ground staff and making him eat the food that was served by the airline. One upset passenger is heard saying, "Are we dogs? Eat this food in front of us." The staff member took a bite and said it tasted fine, but this made the passengers even angrier.

When the staff tried to walk away, one passenger shouted at him, telling him to sit down and not mess with their minds, showing that the argument was still going on. After the video spread online and caused outrage, SpiceJet responded to the situation.

SpiceJet has responded to the viral video and stood by its staff members. In a statement to IndiaToday., the airline said the food served during the flight delay was fresh and of good quality. It added that the meals were provided by an authorised vendor who also supplies food to other airlines and the airport.

The airline also defended its staff, saying they stayed calm and professional even after facing rude language and physical intimidation. We condemn such behaviour and stand firmly by our employees,SpiceJet said. The airline called the incidentunfortunate.Meanwhile, social media remains divided, some people are criticising the quality of the food, while others are saying the passengers went too far.
