Prime Minister Modi remembers Netaji’s vision and courage
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the leaders who acknowledged the great contribution of Subhas Chandra Bose towards the country's freedom. Speaking about Bose’s unmatched role, Mr. Modi said, “Netaji’s contribution to India’s freedom movement is unparalleled.” Remembering the iconic leader, who led the Azad Hind Fauj (Indian National Army) in the fight against the British, the Prime Minister emphasised Bose's courage and grit. He added, “His vision continues to motivate us as we work towards building the India he envisioned.”
Vice President Dhankhar honours Bose’s dedication
On social media platform X, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar paid tribute to Bose, calling his devotion to India’s independence and his role in forming the Azad Hind Fauj a testament to his extraordinary vision and bravery. Dhankhar wrote, “Netaji’s valour, nationalistic fervour, and monumental contribution to freeing India from foreign rule continue to inspire countless Indians. He personified selfless devotion to the cause of the motherland.”
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath highlights Bose’s energy
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also shared his tribute to Bose on his birth anniversary. He highlighted how Bose gave new energy to India’s freedom struggle with his famous declaration, “You give me blood, I will give you freedom.” Adityanath tweeted, “This great declaration of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose gave a new energy and new direction to the freedom struggle of India.” He further wrote, "Humble tribute to the founder of Azad Hind Fauj, ‘Netaji,’ on his birth anniversary and heartfelt wishes of ‘Parakram Diwas’ to the people of the state. Jai Hind!”
