The last video of Shubham Dwivedi, a newly married man who was killed by terrorists in the Pahalgam attack, has surfaced online. The video shows him enjoying his time with his wife and relatives before tragedy struck. Shubham had gone to Jammu and Kashmir with his wife for a short holiday, but the trip ended in heartbreak as he was shot dead in the attack.

In the video, Shubham was smiling, laughing, and playing UNO with his wife and two other relatives at a hotel. They all looked happy and relaxed. But just hours later, everything changed.

According to his cousin, Saurabh, terrorists started firing after asking people their names. “Shubham Bhaiya got married on February 12 this year. He was in Pahalgam with his wife. My sister-in-law called my uncle and told him that Shubham was shot in the head. It is also being said that the firing started after asking for the names of the individuals,” Saurabh told ANI.

The family was informed by officials that Shubham's body will be brought home after all legal and medical procedures are completed, which might take two to three days.

Pahalgam attack: A shocking tragedy

The attack took place on Tuesday in Baisaran Valley, a popular tourist spot surrounded by green hills and orchards. According to reports, at least 26 people lost their lives, and many were injured when multiple terrorists opened fire. The peaceful location quickly turned into a scene of panic and fear. People screamed for help, but many had nowhere to hide.

Eyewitnesses said that when the shooting started, tourists tried to run, but it was an open area with little protection. Disturbing videos showed people crying and begging for help after their family members were shot.

Among the victims were a Navy officer who had just gotten married a week earlier, an Intelligence Bureau officer who was killed in front of his wife, two foreigners from the UAE and Nepal, and two local residents.

Who was behind the attack?

Security forces have launched a big operation to find and arrest the terrorists. The Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police are working together and have surrounded the area. They also released sketches of four terrorists involved in the attack. All are said to be connected to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and at least two of them are believed to be foreigners.

The Resistance Front (TRF), a shadow group of the banned LeT, has claimed responsibility. However, the government has not officially confirmed this yet.
