In a shocking video going viral on the internet, a Bengaluru influencer claimed that a 10-year-old boy groped her breast while she was vlogging in the BMT layout area. The police later identified the boy and started investigating the case.

The Instagram ID named @nehabiswal120 has reported her experience of sexual harassment at BMT layout in Bengaluru. She said that while she was vlogging in the street, a 10-year-old boy on a bicycle approached her grabbed her breast, and fled quickly from the scene. In the video, Neha showed footage of the incident and raised the issue of women's lack of safety on the streets of Bengaluru.

In the video, an emotional Neha Biswal recalls the incident, claiming that a boy suddenly groped her, leaving her shaken. She also shows the handprints on her top where the boy allegedly touched her. In a follow-up video, she mentioned that while some locals helped catch the boy, others were skeptical of her account.

The videos sparked mixed reactions on social media. While most people supported Neha, some commented on a North-South divide, and a few called her a "drama queen" and questioned her story.

One X user wrote, "She has it recorded, yet people are coming up with theories about North Indians trying to defame Bangalore?" Another user said, "The public must also step in and help in such situations. Police can't be everywhere, but people should help catch criminals."

About the FIR

Neha said in the video that she didn’t file any FIR as the accused was a child, she didn't want to ruin his future but wanted him to be caught and be given some kind of warning. She later thanked Bengaluru Police stating, “They did not make me feel like I am not a local, but I am still mentally disturbed by what had happened.”

What Police said about the incident

While interrogating the boy about the incident, he said he was trying some kind of stunt with his bicycle when his hand bruised the woman’s chest, said DCP South Sarah Fatima.
