The Adani Group has partnered with ISKCON to serve maha prasad (special food offerings) at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. They plan to serve the prasad to around 1 lakh devotees daily, including 18,000 sanitation workers.

About 2,500 volunteers will prepare the maha prasad meals in two kitchens with modern equipment. The meals, which include roti, dal, rice, vegetables, and sweets, will be served on eco-friendly leaf plates at 40 different points.The Adani Group will also provide golf carts to help elderly people, children, and those with disabilities move around.

It has also teamed up with Gita Press from Gorakhpur to print about 1 crore copies of the Aarti Sangrah, a collection of devotional hymns dedicated to gods like Shiva, Lakshmi, Ganesha, Vishnu, Durga, and others.These books will be given out for free at the Maha Kumbh Mela. The event is expected to attract around 40 crore visitors this year, with a budget of approximately ₹6,382 crore.

The Kumbh Mela will take place for 30-45 days from January 13 to February 26, 2025, with key dates including January 13 (Paush Purnima Snan), January 15 (Makar Sankranti Snan), January 29 (Mauni Amavasya Snan), February 3 (Basant Panchami Snan), February 12 (Maghi Purnima Snan), and February 26 (Maha Shivratri Snan).

The Mela is held every 12 years in Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain, and Nashik. The Maha Kumbh, hosted in Prayagraj, is the grandest of all and occurs once every 144 years. It is the largest religious event in the world, attracting pilgrims from across the globe to bathe in the sacred confluence of the Yamuna, Saraswati, and Ganga rivers.
