Early on Thursday, a security operation trapped at least 3 to 4 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district. The encounter started after a joint team of security forces acted on intelligence information. This is part of ongoing efforts to stop terrorism in the region.

Just a week ago, security forces killed six terrorists during operations in south Kashmir. These encounters happened in the Keller area of Shopian and the Nadar area of Tral in Pulwama district on Tuesday and Thursday last week.

The security forces are focusing more on south Kashmir after a terrible terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. In that attack, 26 innocent civilians lost their lives. The forces are working hard to prevent such attacks from happening again.

In addition to fighting terrorists, the authorities have also been demolishing the houses of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. This action is part of their plan to weaken terrorist networks and stop future attacks.

Security officials have not yet released more details about the current encounter in Kishtwar. The operation is still ongoing, and the forces are working to ensure the safety of the local people.

The government and security agencies continue to take strong steps to keep Jammu and Kashmir safe from terrorism.
