The incident took place when Garry was performing in New South Wales, a fan rushed towards the stage and attempted to choke him. The attacker was quickly restrained by security personnel and police officers present at the event, who directed him off the stage before taking him into custody.

Reports say the incident started when Garry Sandhu made a gesture that some people found offensive, he raised his middle finger towards the crowd. This upset one fan, who became angry and confronted Sandhu on stage.

Security quickly intervened and managed to pull Sandhu away from the attacker after a brief struggle.
