Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s wedding has become a topic of confusion and concern after a series of medical emergencies forced the couple to postpone their big day. Earlier this week, Palash Muchhal was seen at the airport, marking his first public appearance since the delay. He was also spotted at Premanand Maharaj Ji’s ashram, adding to the ongoing speculation surrounding the wedding.

The wedding was originally scheduled for November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra. However, just days before the ceremony, Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, was hospitalised due to a heart-related issue. This unexpected health scare created tension for the family.

Soon after, another problem arose when Palash Muchhal also fell sick. He was admitted to the hospital with viral symptoms and acidity issues. With both families dealing with medical emergencies, the decision was made to postpone the wedding.

Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, later confirmed that the wedding had been “put on hold.” She also shared that both her brother and Smriti’s father had been discharged and were recovering. Despite this, neither family has announced a new wedding date.

Earlier this week, there were reports suggesting that Smriti and Palash would get married on December 7. But Smriti’s brother dismissed the rumours, saying the wedding is still on hold and no new date has been finalised yet.

After the postponement, fans noticed that Smriti Mandhana deleted all her wedding- and engagement-related posts from social media, including Palash’s proposal video shot at the DY Patil Stadium. This move sparked further speculation about their relationship status.

Adding more curiosity, both Smriti and Palash updated their Instagram bios last week with an evil eye emoji, which many believe was to ward off negativity during a stressful period.

So far, neither Smriti Mandhana nor Palash Muchhal has issued a public statement explaining the delay or announcing new wedding plans. Fans continue to wait for official updates and hope for positive news once both families are ready.
