Elon Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, chose a unique way to celebrate her birthday this year, by soaking in the charm of Mumbai. Ditching the usual birthday scenes, she embraced Indian tradition in full style, wearing a stunning lehenga-gown by designer Sabyasachi.

The blush-pink outfit was a custom-made piece from Sabyasachi’s Heritage Collection. It featured soft embroidery, beautiful floral designs, and a light, see-through dupatta that added a graceful touch. Her blouse had long sleeves, a high neckline, and was decorated with heavy embellishments. Bold statement earrings completed her elegant look. Her makeup artist even shared more photos of the outfit on Instagram, giving fans a closer look.

Maye wasn’t just in India for fun, she was also here for the launch of her book A Woman Makes a Plan, now available in Hindi.

Even though her son, Elon Musk, wasn’t with her in person, he made sure to send his love from afar. Maye posted a photo on X, formerly Twitter, holding a bouquet of flowers sent by Elon.
 She wrote: "Thank you, Elon, for sending these beautiful birthday flowers to me in Mumbai. Love m."

Elon also shared a sweet birthday message online: "Love you, Mom. Thanks for everything." Maye replied simply with, "Thank you."

In another post, Maye shared how her kids, Elon, Kimbal, and Tosca, make her birthday extra special. She shared that every five years, they throw her a grand celebration.

While Maye has already made her stylish entrance in India, Elon Musk is expected to visit the country later this year as Tesla gears up for its India launch.
