YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, stirred controversy during a heated debate on Piers Morgan’s show by holding up a photo of Osama bin Laden. The discussion focused on the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan after four days of intense military action.
Joining the debate alongside Allahbadia were Indian journalist Barkha Dutt, former Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Khar, and Shehzad Ghias Shaikh from The Pakistan Experience. Introducing his argument with a promise to share “proofs, facts and figures,” Allahbadia displayed two photos, one of which featured the UN-designated terrorist being allegedly celebrated by members of the Pakistani military.
“This is the narrative the world should know,” he said, targeting Pakistan’s “misleading” global stance. “This man is a UN-designated terrorist being celebrated by the Pakistani military in the background. That’s not the narrative the Pakistanis give. That’s not the narrative that the US knows.”
Ranveer Allahbadia also spoke about India’s Operation Sindoor, saying that the strikes were carefully planned, limited, and meant only as a response to attacks, not as an act of aggression.
He added, “India has never started a war. We send vaccines, ideas, engineers, and leaders to the world. That’s why our economy is 11 times bigger than Pakistan’s.” Responding to claims that India is trying to gain global sympathy, he asked Piers Morgan, “You’ve seen the facts and figures. What’s your opinion on this situation?”
Allahbadia then pointed at a photo of Osama bin Laden and said, “The world knows this man. But India has a long list of people like him.” He ended by saying, “I’m not pushing any narrative. I’m just telling the truth, the world deserves to know.
Stir around Allahabadia’s post
On the show, Ranveer Allahbadia was asked why he deleted a post where he called Pakistanis his "brothers and sisters" after the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people. He replied, “I deleted it because Pakistan broke the ceasefire again. Every time we try to talk, they ask, ‘Where’s the proof?’ instead of taking responsibility.”
He added, “Have you seen what the world thinks of Pakistan? Have you seen your economy?”Defending India, he said, “Our army only responds when attacked. I’m not sharing opinions, just the truth.” He ended by saying, “India fights terrorism, Pakistan spreads it. We’re protecting people and humanity. The world needs to know this.”
