Mumbai Police has sent a notice to actor Ajaz Khan over showing vulgar content in his show House Arrest. The show was streamed on the Ullu app. The police have also called the app owner and Ajaz Khan to come and give their statements.
Last week, Amboli Police filed a case against Ajaz Khan, producer Rajkumar Pandey, and others from the Ullu app after a complaint from a VHP member.
Police have questioned the manager of the Ullu app in a case involving Ajaz Khan's web show House Arrest. Viral clips from the show show Khan asking inappropriate questions and forcing participants, including women, to perform intimate scenes.
On May 1, BJP leader and MLC Chitra Wagh demanded a ban on House Arrest, calling it scontent vulgar and harmful, especially for children. She also urged Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to take strong action against apps that promote such shows.

At the same time, Ajaz Khan is also facing a separate FIR filed at Charkop police station in Mumbai. A woman has accused him of raping her after falsely promising marriage and a role as a host in the show. According to her, Khan first proposed during the shoot and later came to her home, where the alleged assault happened.
