The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a free coaching programme for students preparing for the NEET and JEE exams, aiming to support learners from government junior colleges across the state.
Announced by Human Resource Minister Nara Lokesh, the scheme is expected to benefit more than one lakh students enrolled in 1,355 government junior colleges. The coaching will include specially-designed study materials prepared by expert faculty to boost student performance in these national-level entrance tests.
Speaking about the new initiative, Lokesh said, "The programme is designed to ensure all students in Andhra Pradesh have the opportunity to set high goals and achieve them." The focus, he added, is on providing equal academic opportunities for students from all backgrounds by removing hurdles like access to quality coaching.
