A man allegedly killed his in-laws with a sharp weapon because his wife refused to return home with him, the police said on Thursday. The incident happened in Vijay Kheda around 9 pm on Wednesday. The man, named Jagdeep Singh, attacked his father-in-law Anantram (80 years old) and mother-in-law (75 years old) with a knife after his wife, Poonam, said she wouldn’t go back with him. When people nearby heard their screams, they rushed to the house. They caught Jagdeep and handed him over to the police. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashish Srivastava said both victims were taken to the hospital, but they were declared dead.
