A 17-year-old boy named Kunal was stabbed to death in the Seelampur area of Delhi on Thursday evening. The incident happened around 7:38 pm in J-Block, just 100 metres from his house. According to officials, Kunal had gone out to buy milk when he was attacked. The people who stabbed him ran away after the assault.

Kunal was found in a critical condition. He was quickly taken to JPC Hospital for emergency treatment, but he died during the treatment, officials confirmed.

The brutal murder has left the area in shock and anger. Soon after the incident, many local residents came out on the streets in protest. They blocked the main road that connects ISBT Kashmiri Gate to Ghaziabad, which caused heavy traffic jams. People were shouting slogans and demanding justice.

Some eyewitnesses and locals claimed that the accused belonged to a particular community. This added more tension to the situation. As a result, a large number of police officers were sent to the area to maintain peace and prevent any further violence.

Police investigation begins, security tightened

As soon as the police were informed, a team from the Seelampur Police Station reached the hospital to gather information. A separate crime team was also sent to the spot where the attack took place to collect evidence.

Police are checking CCTV footage from nearby shops and houses. They are also going door-to-door to ask people if they saw anything suspicious. A case has been registered, and several police teams are now working to identify and catch the attackers. “Further investigation is underway,” the police said.

‘Hindu Exodus’ posters raise fear among locals

After the murder, fear and tension increased in the area. In a new development, some Hindu families in a Muslim-majority locality have started putting up posters outside their homes. These posters read: “Hindu Palayan, Ye Makaan Bikau Hai, Yogi Ji” (Hindu Exodus, This House is for Sale, Yogi Ji).

Locals say these posters show the fear and helplessness felt by many Hindu families after the killing. Some people are thinking about leaving the area because they feel unsafe. Security forces have been deployed in large numbers to prevent further tension or violence.
