A shocking case of child murder has come to light from Sarai Kalan village in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. A six-year-old boy named Lokesh was killed by his own uncle for a black magic ritual. The uncle and a self-styled ‘tantrik’ (black magic practitioner) have now been arrested by the police.

The murder happened on July 19. Lokesh was reported missing that afternoon, and later in the evening, his body was found hidden under straw in an abandoned house in the village. His throat had been slit, and police later found syringe marks on his body. According to the police, the boy’s blood was taken out using syringes for an occult ritual

Murdered on the ‘Tantrik’s’ advice to bring back wife

Two days after the murder, Lokesh’s uncle Manoj Kumar was arrested. During questioning, Manoj confessed that he killed the child on the advice of a ‘tantrik’ named Sunil Kumar. The police arrested Sunil Kumar on July 22.

The reason behind this brutal act was shocking. Manoj’s wife had left him after a domestic fight and was living with her parents. Manoj wanted her to come back home, so he contacted Sunil Kumar for help. Sunil promised to perform a black magic ritual that would “subdue Manoj’s wife and compel her return.” But for that, he demanded Rs 12,000 along with the “liver and blood of a child.”

Manoj agreed. On the afternoon of July 19, he took his nephew Lokesh out on the pretext of buying him toffees. But instead of taking him to a shop, he took him to a deserted, broken house in the village. There, he strangled Lokesh and tried to take his blood using a syringe. After killing him, he hid the body under straw and wooden logs, planning to return later to take out the liver.

Lokesh’s father, Bintu, filed a missing report the same day. A search was launched quickly. By 8 pm, the body was found. At that time, Manoj was with the family and even went to the same place where the body was hidden, pretending to help in the search.

Police found truth through CCTV and confession

At first, the police had filed a case against unknown persons. But later, CCTV footage from the area showed something suspicious, and they started questioning Manoj. During interrogation, Manoj “broke down and disclosed the full sequence of events, including the involvement of Sunil.”

After this, police went to Sunil Kumar’s village and arrested him. They are now checking if he has been involved in similar crimes in the past.

A used syringe was also recovered from the spot. The forensic team has collected more evidence from the abandoned house, which is now sealed. The investigation is still going on.
