This was exactly the case for one woman, who was shocked after discovering her husband’s unusual shower routine. She was so disturbed by his hygiene habits that she joked about asking him to move out.

The woman shared her experience in a now-viral video on TikTok. She revealed that even after years of being together, she had no idea about her husband’s minimal approach to bathing. Her discovery left her feeling upset and questioning his hygiene practices.

Shocking shower routine

In the video, the woman explained that she was “so upset" when she found out how her husband washes his body. She even asked him to demonstrate his routine in front of her. The man started by scrubbing his head and beard. Seeing this, his wife jokingly said, “With that much effort? Give me the effort."

Then she asked him, “Then where does the soap go next?" Her husband explained that after washing his beard, he gets some soap and creates a “triangle" to clean his lower body. As he demonstrated the triangle motion, his wife exclaimed, “I’m scared for my life. Stop!"

Things got even more surprising when he explained how he cleans his backside. “Then you get out your Mastercard and your Amex right back here, and then you’re done," he said. His wife, clearly shocked, asked, “That’s how you wash your body? You’re telling me you don’t even wash your pits?" He casually replied that he washes his armpits “sometimes."

The woman was even more horrified when she realized he did not wash his legs or feet properly. When she asked about it, he replied, “Yeah, if I get like a tattoo or something." Hearing this, she told him, “You can’t live here anymore."

Some even suggested that hygiene routines should be discussed on a first date. Others believed that couples should shower together before moving in to understand each other’s habits.

Another person wrote, “I know the bar is low, but at least he washes between his cheeks. Apparently some men don’t?"
