Uttar Pradesh has welcomed its first floating restaurant in Gorakhpur. Located on Ramgarh Lake, this restaurant is set to enhance the lake's status as a major tourist attraction in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

The floating restaurant is facilitated with numerous new facilities like a water sports complex, cruise and water biking facilities making it a perfect party spot in the city. Ramgarh lake, the once neglected  water body has now been transformed into an attractive tourist destination fulfilling the dream of CM Yogi Adityanath.

The floating restaurant, named "Float," spans 9,600 square feet and can accommodate 150 guests at once. It boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a lift for easy access.

According to Alok Agarwal, the managing director of the operating company, the first floor will feature a vegetarian menu, while the second floor will be dedicated to hosting musical events and cultural programs.

The renowned Trident club has also been incorporated into the restaurant, enhancing the party atmosphere for visitors. According to Alok Agarwal, the entry fee has been set at a pocket friendly rate to ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience. The cost for food and drinks is just Rs 1,500, and couples can indulge at the disco for only Rs 2,000. While this package does not include unlimited service, Agarwal assures that it will be sufficient for a delightful night.

Due to its recently changed policy of making the entry fees from Rs 300 to Rs 30 only, it is more visitor friendly now.

The three-story restaurant, built at a cost of 10 crores, is the largest in Uttar Pradesh and was inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on September 19. The prices for food and drinks are kept economical, making it a budget-friendly tourist destination. While the restaurant serves only vegetarian cuisine, visitors can enjoy a unique experience by taking in the view of the lake from the restaurant's deck.
