UAE’s Emirates has been named as the ‘World’s Best Airlines’ in a recent study conducted by the Telegraph Travel. It studied 90 airlines based on 30 criteria including baggage allowances, punctuality, quality of the home airport, route networks,fleet age, rewards program value, and the quality of in-flight meals.The results were derived from more than 18 independent sources, such as awards, reader polls, and expert reviews.
The study applauded Emirates calling it a ‘worthy winner’ as it covers all the criteria, from good baggage allowance to outstanding punctuality. Emirates has the largest fleet of double-decker AirbusA380s, which are known for their comfort and spaciousness across all the classes including the economy.
The analysis states that the premium economy delivered by A380s is unbeatable in the industry. Especially the chauffeur service to and from the airport provided by the business class of Emirates are rare among other airlines.
First class of the Emirates offers the most exquisite collection along with the facility of onboard showers. The vast route network of Emirates connects 140 cities across 77 countries and has been crowned as the best long-haul carrier as per Telegraph Travel.
Emirates has received19 awards in 2024 from various international organisations including 7 awards from Skytrax World Airline Awards in June. Other awards include ‘Best Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity in the Middle East’, by the Pax International Magazine Awards.
