Thailand, a world-favorite destination for travelers, is making traveling easier for all. As of May 1, 2025, all international visitors coming into the country through airplane, land, or sea will be required to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) prior to arrival.

Here's what you want to know about this new system.

What is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card

The Digital Arrival Card of Thailand (TDAC) is the digital equivalent of the document that tourists once filled in on paper when they arrived in Thailand. The Tourism Thailand website states that the digital card collects essential information from tourists and assists immigration officials in keeping tabs on how many people arrive in the country.

The aim is to speed up and simplify the arrival process. By going digital, Thailand aims to minimize lengthy queues, eliminate paperwork, and enhance security while travelling. The nation also aims to keep pace with the worldwide shift towards smart travel and technology.

The website further states that travellers need to complete the digital card within three days before they arrive in Thailand.
