Srettha Thavisin, the prime minister of Thailand, highlighted the role Hindu ideals have in promoting world peace. He asked everyone, in this turbulent world, to find inspiration in Hinduism's core values of nonviolence, honesty, tolerance, and harmony in order to bring about global peace. In an effort to further cement Hindus' reputation as a gifted and progressive people worldwide, the Third World Hindu Congress was established.

Prime Minister Thavisin of the host nation was supposed to speak at the first session but was unable to do so for reasons that were not made clear. During the meeting, the message from the Thai Prime Minister instead expressed Thailand's honor to host the World Hindu Congress, which is a gathering of people who share Hinduism's tenets and values.

The Vedas see synthesis and balance as fundamental ideas that encourage harmonious cohabitation. These fundamental ideas form the basis of the notion of shanti. The 'Victory of Dharma' was proclaimed when the founder-facilitator of the program, Swami Vigyananand, general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Milind Parande, Sarsanghchalak Mohanrao Bhagwat of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, distinguished saint Mata Amritanandamayi, and Swami Purnatmanand of the Bharat Sevashram Sangh jointly lit the ceremonial lamp.

More than 2,200 delegates representing 61 nations attended the World Hindu Congress. These delegates were honored for their noteworthy contributions to politics, academia, research and development, media, education, and the economy.

Members of Parliament (MPs) and ministers represent about 25 nations. There is a sizable Indian population in Thailand, estimated to number one million, and they make important contributions to commerce and economic growth in the nation.

Speaking recently, External Affairs Minister EAM Jaishankar discussed how India and Thailand's defense and security cooperation has grown since 2014. He emphasized the Thai government's corresponding sentiment in this respect.

Speaking to the Indian community residing in Thailand, Jaishankar highlighted the differences in the two countries' approaches to development: Thailand had a look-west stance, while India followed a look-east one. He emphasized the revolutionary changes in the relationship between India and Thailand that have occurred since Prime Minister Narendra Modi took office in 2014.

"We engage with the countries of the ASEAN," Jaishankar stated during a conversation with the Indian community. Thus, this goes beyond merely a connection for us. As I mentioned before, this is not really a partnership that started in the contemporary sense in 1947. It is a historical relationship, of course, but it is also one that is linked to reform and transformation in India. Thus, the time frame we are discussing, particularly the past 25 years, is a period in which this link has expanded significantly.
