According to a recent study conducted by personal injury attorneys, a list has been compiled to determine the most dangerous states to live in the USA. According to the list, New Mexico is the most dangerous state in America, followed by Louisiana.

The most dangerous states of America were categorized in a list. Research using the WHO's database revealed that mortality rates in the US are 2.5 times higher than the average rates in countries with similar income levels.

The main reasons for the deaths were identified as homicide, transport accidents, drug overdose, suicides, negligence in treating cardiovascular diseases and an increase in disease mortality rate.

A new study by Caputo and Van Der Walde Injury & Accident Attorneys has revealed some decisive factors on which each state is compared, including firearm mortality, railway injuries, traffic fatalities and "crimes against persons" to determine which states are the most dangerous.

New Mexico: Referred to as the Hollywood gangster city, New Mexico is ranked as the most dangerous state, according to the study. It has the highest rates of traffic accidents, assaults, burglaries, homicides, etc. Firearm mortality is nearly double the national average.

Louisiana: The second most dangerous state, Louisiana has the highest incidence of traffic accidents, with at least one death per billion miles travelled.

Arkansas: Ranked third, Arkansas experiences the highest number of homicides, with rates double the national average.

Alaska: Alaska has the highest number of assault offences, including crimes against individuals and homicides.

Missouri: The fifth state on the list, Missouri, has high rates of firearm mortality, vehicle thefts, and assault offences.

"Living in certain states in America can be particularly dangerous due to high rates of injury from various sources," Caputo and Van Der Walde Injury and Accident Attorneys spokesperson stated.
