Three Indian-origin students have tragically lost their lives in a car accident in the United States, in an unfortunate turn of events. Two additional people are in critical condition following the accident.

The students were in a car that was traveling at a high pace when it overturned near Alpharetta, Georgia on Monday night.

The driver lost control of the car when it was heading north of Maxwell Road on Westside Parkway, a stretch known for its busy traffic and urban setting, according to the Alpharetta Police Department.

Three of the car's occupants died when the vehicle later overturned and crashed in a tree line. The names of the deceased, who were all 18 years old, are Sriya Avasarala, Aryan Joshi, and Anvi Sharma. Joshi had recently finished his senior year at Alpharetta High School, while Avasarala, Sharma, and other students were first-years at the University of Georgia.

Police preliminary findings point to the possibility that speeding played a major role in the collision. To determine the precise cause of the incident, the authorities are carrying out a comprehensive investigation. The town has been rocked by the loss, and friends and relatives are finding it difficult to accept the unexpected tragedy.

Sriya Avasarala was a member of the University of Georgia's Shikaari tiny dance team. The team posted condolences on social media, referring to her as a "wonderful dancer and friend." It was also warmly remembered that Anvi Sharma belonged to the university's Kalakaar a cappella club. The Alpharetta High School cricket team, led by Aryan Joshi, paid tribute to him, claiming that his encouragement was a major contributor to their achievements.

Mohammed Liyakath and Rithwak Somepalli, the two injured students, are presently undergoing medical attention.

The driver of the Honda Accord was Somepalli, a Georgia State University student, and the passenger was Liyakath, a senior at Alpharetta High School. The Westside Parkway from Maxwell Road to Hembree Road was momentarily closed after the collision, according to the police, demonstrating the seriousness of the scenario.

A report claims that Shari Kelly's spouse saw the crash's aftermath. She conveyed the anguish of such an incident, particularly when young people are involved.
