Four Indian bars made it to the extended list of Asia's 50 Best Bars

Bars in the extended list are ranked based on a voting process of Asia's 50 Best Bars

An extended list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars has been finally unveiled on Tuesday. The list features Asia bars ranked from 51-100 position. Four Indian bars have made their way to the list, marking a global achievement.

The Bombay Canteen (Mumbai), ranked 59th on the list, holds the highest rank among all other Indian bars. Lair (New Delhi) follows at the 68th position, with Sidecar (New Delhi) at 84th and Home (New Delhi) at 96th.

The extended list features 15 new entries from across the continent and includes bars from 19 cities. Soko (Seoul) tops the list at 51st place, with Singapore having the highest number of featured bars.

Bars in the extended list are ranked based on a voting process of Asia’s 50 Best Bars, where an academy of 265 members—including bartenders, bar owners, drinks writers, and cocktail enthusiasts—vote independently and anonymously for their idea of the ultimate “best bar experience”.

The Bombay Canteen and Sidecar were featured in last year’s list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars. The other Indian bars featured among the top 50 last year were The Living Room by Masque (Mumbai) and Copitas (Bengaluru).
