A couple in China is capturing attention for planning to have twelve children, with each one representing a different Chinese zodiac sign. Tian Dongxia, who is already a mother of nine, and her husband Zhao Wanlong want their family to include one child for every zodiac sign.

Nine children and counting

Tian and Zhao, who married in 2010 after meeting in 2008, already have nine children, including two sets of twins. Their youngest son was born in 2022. Even though they have a large family, the couple plans to have four more children. Tian wants to complete the full set of twelve zodiac signs, with each child representing a different sign. At the moment, only two signs are repeated in their family.

Tian explained her unusual goal by saying, “There should be a child of every zodiac sign.” She believes that her husband’s "good genes" should not go to waste, and she is determined to have one child for each zodiac sign.

Financially stable to support a big family

Tian and Zhao are successful and well-rounded businesspeople and are able to support their growing family. Zhao is the CEO of a power supply company, and Tian is the general manager. Their company makes more than £4 million every year. The couple lives in a large 200-square-meter villa and has six nannies and a nutritionist to help care for their children.

They are also planning to make their home bigger to fit their future grandchildren. If Tian's plan works out, they could have as many as 81 grandchildren in the future.

Couples gaining attention for their family plans

The couple's story has gone viral on social media, with many people saying that only wealthy individuals could have such a large family. Some have mentioned that without a lot of money, most people could only dream of having a family as big as Tian and Zhao's.
