As the Indian Air Force marked its 93rd anniversary, a unique menu made its way across social media, one that had everyone talking.
Retired Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon of the Indian Army shared a picture of a special menu designed for the celebration. It’s unclear where it was served, but the menu grabbed attention for its creative connection to Pakistan.
Each dish on the menu was named after Pakistani cities and towns that were reportedly targeted by Indian forces during Operation Sindoor.
The list included Rawalpindi Chicken Tikka Masala, Rafiqui Rhara Mutton, Bholari Paneer Methi Malai, Sukkur Savera Kofta, Sargodha Dal Makhani, Jacobabad Mewa Pulao, and Bahawalpur Naan.
For dessert, guests were treated to Balakot Tiramisu, Muzaffarabad Kulfi Faluda, and Muridke Meetha Pan, names echoing key locations linked to past strikes on terrorist infrastructure.

The retired General’s post, shared on Thursday (October 9), quickly went viral, with many social media users praising the humour and patriotic creativity behind the culinary tribute.
During the official celebrations, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh spoke proudly about the Indian Air Force’s role in Operation Sindoor.
“Our performance in Operation Sindoor fills us with professional pride. We proved to the world how air power can be effectively used in shaping military outcomes in just a few days,” he said.
He added, “Our robust air defence architecture and offensive employment of long-range surface-to-air missile systems limited the adversary’s ability to operate and ensured safety of our vital assets.”
Describing Operation Sindoor as a “shining example” of coordinated military excellence, the Air Chief said it demonstrated what can be achieved through “meticulous planning, disciplined training and determined execution.”
While the Indian Air Force honoured its personnel with formal events and air displays, this light-hearted yet symbolic menu added a patriotic flavour to the day, showing that even food can tell a story of pride, precision, and national spirit.
