A Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Boston turned into a shocking public moment for Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon. During the show, the band’s lead singer, Chris Martin, started a "kiss cam" segment, where couples in the audience are shown on the big screen.

One of the couples shown was Bryon and Kristin Cabot, who is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Astronomer. In the video, Bryon had his arms around Cabot, and their fingers were locked together. Chris Martin joked about them on stage, saying, “Look at these two,” and then added, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Cabot looked embarrassed and covered her face with her hands, while Bryon quickly ducked down, trying to avoid the camera. The awkward reaction made many people suspicious about their relationship.

This video quickly went viral on social media, and people were shocked because Andy Bryon is married and has two children. Kristin Cabot is also a top executive in the same company, raising questions about professionalism and ethics.

Who is Kristin Cabot?

Kristin Cabot joined Astronomer in November 2024 as the Chief People Officer. She has more than 20 years of experience in human resources and company culture. Before Astronomer, she worked with companies like Neo4j, ObserveIT, and ProofPoint. She has a degree in political science from Gettysburg College.

When Cabot was hired, Bryon praised her leadership skills and experience in building strong company cultures. He said, “Her passion for creating diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”

Cabot had previously gone through a divorce with her former husband, Kenneth Thornby. They filed for divorce in 2018, and it was finalised in 2022. They have at least one child together, and court papers show that Thornby paid her a lump sum for child support.

On her LinkedIn, Cabot described herself as someone who “wins the trust of CEOs” and is known for creating award-winning workplaces. After the affair was exposed, many users on social media mocked this claim. One person wrote, “She needs to read her own HR manual.”

Social media reacts, and wife makes a move

Many people on social media supported Andy Bryon’s wife, Megan Kerrigan Bryon. One user noticed that she had removed “Bryon” from her Facebook name. People praised her and encouraged her to move on. One post said, “Go Megan. Get that divorce lawyer and get the money.”

Another user joked about the whole situation, saying, “Cost of hotel: $200, concert tickets: $600, food: $150, divorce lawyer: $50,000. Getting exposed by Coldplay: priceless.”

So far, neither Bryon nor Cabot has made a public statement about the incident.
