Elon Musk is all set to launch a new smart TV app, X-TV. The announcement of the launch was made public by X News as they posted a teaser of the launch on X (previously known as Twitter). The teaser lacked details as it was just 10 seconds long but promised that X TV would soon be available everywhere.
The CEO of X, Linda Yaccarino, said, “From the small screen to the big screen, X is changing everything. Soon we’ll bring real-time, engaging content to your smart TVs with the X TV App.”
Linda highlighted some of the features that will excite the users, she also mentioned that users will now be able to consume high-quality content on larger screens. X TV will offer seamless cross-device viewing to its users, trending video algorithms, AI-powered topics, and enhanced video search capabilities to find content more efficiently.
Additionally, X TV will allow the users to upload 140-second-long videos, but the users paying the premium will get to upload 1080p videos up to two hours long or 720p videos up to three hours long through the web browser or X's iOS app. Musk's TV app will compete with giants like YouTube and Google TV.
With the launch of X TV Musk is planning to revolutionize the TV world by providing a personalized and engaging viewing experience to the users. This app will add another star to Musk's decorative portfolio which is already packed with ventures in electric vehicles, space exploration, and renewable energy solutions.
