Meta launches AI assistant ‘Meta AI’ across WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram in India

Meta launches AI assistant, Meta AI, on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and meta.ai in India. With the help of the sophisticated Meta Llama 3 large language model, Meta AI was developed to help users with a variety of tasks, including learning, planning, content creation, and information retrieval.

Users can ask Meta AI on WhatsApp for suggestions on eateries or tourist destinations. To aid in studying, the AI can also create multiple-choice tests. Meta AI can visualize various aesthetics and generate mood boards to inspire furniture purchasing for those moving into new apartments.

Meta AI can offer more details on user-interested posts in Facebook feeds. It provides instantaneous search results from Google and Microsoft to help you find answers fast.

Meta AI’s “Imagine” text-to-image generating tool allows users to produce and share images. Users can make, animate, or edit images based on their thoughts by using the word “imagine” in chats.

To differentiate Meta AI from competing AI tools, Meta has added several distinctive features to its AI assistant:
