Raul John Aju, the 16-year-old from Kerala celebrated as the state’s youngest AI prodigy, is back in the spotlight, not for building robots or developing AI tools, but for an inspiring personal decision. At his startup, Arm Technologies, Raul has brought his father on board, turning his company into more than just a hub for innovation.

Raul’s journey with artificial intelligence started very early. He began learning AI at the age of six. By the time he turned 16, he had already created a robot called Me-bot and developed more than 10 AI tools. His work is not limited to experiments; he focuses on solving real-world problems with technology.

He also shares free content on AI through YouTube and Instagram, helping people understand how artificial intelligence can be used in daily life. His vision is clear: AI should not replace humans but make life easier by reducing workloads and increasing efficiency.

Speaking at the India Today South Conclave 2025 in Coimbatore, Raul shared his bold views about India’s future in technology. He said that India should not just follow the global AI race but should create its own path. He gave examples from other countries: Malaysia, which focused mainly on manufacturing but struggled to grow further, and South Korea, which combined manufacturing with innovation to build global leadership. Raul believes India should choose the second path, mixing strong innovation with its existing strengths.

Through his company, Arm Technologies, Raul wants to show how AI can bring positive change. By hiring his father, he sent out a message that innovation should be inclusive and that young leaders can create opportunities for their families and society.

At just 16, Raul John Aju has already proven himself as a visionary. His message is simple yet powerful: India should lead the tech race with innovation, not just follow others.
