Google is known for making life easy through its advanced tech services. One of such service is Google Wallet, which allows the user to carry a digital copy of every necessary document. Google Wallet which was first launched in the USA in 2022 is finally available in India. The app is available for all Android users in India, it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. The announcement of the launch was made on Wednesday.

Google Wallet: Simplifying Digital Document Management

The app allows the users to keep track of everyday essential documents be it boarding passes or event tickets and many more. The wallet provides you with an option to store and retrieve the documents. For those who are confusing it with a payments app, it is completely different as Google already has Google Pay for payments. According to Google, the new app will complement Google Pay.

Google is partnering with 20 Indian brands for its newly launched app. PVR and INOX, Air India, Indigo, Flipkart, Pine Labs, Kochi Metro, and Abhibus are some of the brands Google is linked with. Google also stated that other brand partners will be added in the future.

Google Wallet is a secure and private space that acts as a digital organiser for all the necessary and everyday documents. It will allow Android users to access event tickets, boarding passes, loyalty and gift cards, public transport tickets, and even corporate badges.

In addition to that, the ticket confirmation, the event updates, and the delay in the flight or boarding will be directly updated in the app.
