Team India faced a heartbreaking loss in the third Test against England at Lord’s. Chasing a target of 193 runs, India came very close to victory but lost the match in the final moments. Ravindra Jadeja played a brave and fighting knock, but his efforts were not enough to take India over the line.

With this win, England now leads the five-match Test series 2-1. Indian fans and players were left disappointed as the team had played well throughout the match. Mohammed Siraj’s unlucky dismissal in the final few overs sealed the result for England.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly praised Jadeja for his strong performance and expressed sadness over the loss. "What a test match ... India will leave Lord's very disappointed... they played so well all 3 Test matches. But down 2-1...it was a test match to be won...Jadeja fought hard and showed 193 was not a big total...@bcci @Teamindiacrick," he wrote on social media.

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also appreciated the efforts of the Indian players, especially Jadeja, Bumrah, and Siraj. "So near, yet so far... Jadeja, Bumrah, & Siraj fought all the way till the end. Well tried, Team India. England played well to keep the pressure on and produced the result they desired. Congratulations on a hard-fought win," Sachin wrote.

India had bowled out England for just 192 runs in their second innings, raising hopes of a win. But the fourth-inning chase proved difficult. Jadeja batted with Bumrah for 22 overs and then with Siraj for 13 overs. However, there was not enough support from the other end.
