Fans are invited to Team India’s victory parade by Rohit Sharma, View entire schedule

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also sent an invite to the fans to join the team as they celebrate India's remarkable triumph in the T20 World Cup.

The open bus T20 World Cup victory parade on Thursday, July 4, starting at 5 PM, is an invitation for supporters to join the squad, as stated by India captain Rohit Sharma. Team India is scheduled to meet with PM Narendra Modi upon their arrival in New Delhi early on Thursday morning.

After taking a chartered airplane to Mumbai, they would proceed to the Wankhede Stadium. The final 1 km of the trip would be completed on an open bus. On Wednesday, Rohit posted an invitation on social media for the supporters to accompany the team in the open bus victory parade.

“We want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00pm onwards. It’s coming home,” Rohit wrote in a post.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also sent an invite to the fans to join the team as they celebrate India’s remarkable triumph in the T20 World Cup.

“Join us for the Victory Parade honouring Team India’s World Cup win! Head to Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards to celebrate with us! Save the date,” Shah wrote in a separate post.

PM Narendra Modi will congratulate the players and support staff upon their arrival in India. Along with PM Modi, the players and support staff will have breakfast.

Then, everyone in the contingent would board another chartered airplane to Mumbai. There will be an open bus parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium, according to an Indian Express article.

The Rs 125 crore prize money will then be given out by Jay Shah at a special presentation event that will take place within the stadium.

Following their victory in the T20 World Cup in Barbados, the Indian men’s cricket team will arrive in New Delhi early on Thursday, June 4.

The Indian players and support personnel were transported by Air India on a special charter flight designated AIC24WC, or Air India Champions 24 World Cup, which departed at 4:50 a.m. local time on Wednesday.
